Medical bills reimbursement

It usually takes 7 to 14 days to process any submitted bills. This is followed by the reimbursement of the respective amount to your bank account. Please note: Laboratory bills and receipts for prescribed medicine can only be reimbursed on presentation of the respective physician’s original bill (including diagnosis).

Direct billing with the physicians

PROVISIT allows for direct billing with physicians, if requested. In this case, the physician sends his bill along with your medical info card (Ärzte-Info-Ticket) directly to our office. We will then directly transfer the invoiced amount to the physician’s bank account.

Your advantage:
You don’t have to pay any further attention to the invoicing of your treatment, provided the physician settles the account within the scope of the covered benefits.

Billing with the applicant

If neither you nor the physician want to make use of our direct billing service, your physician will send you a bill for any medical treatment. Please submit this original bill to Dr. Walter GmbH and indicate your insurance number. We will then reimburse the amount to your bank account.
