Do you have a fever, cough, or other signs of a COVID-19 infection? You can rest assured! You don't have to be afraid of high medical costs with Provisit's insurance coverage. Medical treatment for COVID-19 infection is covered.
In addition, our Provisit insurance policies include unlimited post-treatment benefits should you be forced to stay abroad for an extended period of time due to the infection.
Other coverage options are:

So you want to travel abroad and need health insurance. To make it easier for you to choose the right health insurance, we will now explain the most important things you need to know, namely the difference between a "foreign health insurance" (also often called "travel health insurance") and a "full health insurance". By the way, with us you get both.
The main difference between "foreign health insurance" and "full health insurance" is the purpose of the respective insurance. Simply put, the purpose of an international health insurance is to cover you in addition to the regular health insurance you have in your home country. Often, international health insurance is also suitable to cover guests such as au pairs during their visit to Germany who do not have health insurance in their home country.
In contrast to the international health insurance, the comprehensive health insurance is not an additional coverage, but your "main coverage", so to speak. Your comprehensive health insurance guarantees complete basic medical care in your home country, or in the country where you are staying for a longer period of time, for example to study or work there. In Germany, you have the choice between a statutory health insurance and a private comprehensive health insurance.
So international health insurance and comprehensive health insurance cover different things. For example, the international health insurance pays for medical home transport - the regular comprehensive health insurance does not. In contrast, the latter pays for preventive medical examinations, which most international health insurances do not do.
