How do I get to Denmark?
You can reach Denmark particularly easily and quickly by car. From Hamburg you take the A7 towards Flensburg and the border. The very well-developed Danish motorway network begins after the border.

- Hanover to Aarhus about five hours
- Berlin to Copenhagen approximately six hours (including ferry crossing)
- Dortmund to Marielyst about seven hours (including ferry crossing)
Another alternative is the ferry. It takes you comfortably from Rostock and Puttgarden to the eastern Danish islands and to Zealand and Copenhagen. Some German airports also serve the Danish capital.
