International students and professionals often arrive in Germany a few days before their studies or employment begin. During this period, statutory or private health insurance is not yet in effect – coverage only starts on the first day of study or employment. You therefore need travel health insurance for the period in between.
Customers of Provisit Student, Provisit Student TK, Provisit Study Secure and Provisit Come In are automatically and free of charge insured through our Provisit Incoming Insurance during this period – from entry into Germany until the start of their studies or employment (maximum 92 days).
Provisit Incoming Insurance is recognized by embassies and consulates for visa applications.
The insurance covers basic medical care and meets all requirements of the decision of the Council of the European Union. The sum insured is unlimited – significantly exceeding the required EUR 30,000.
