You don't want to actually terminate your insurance, but change it?
Many of our customers don't really want to cancel their Provisit insurance, they just want to change their tariff. Example: The customer takes out Provisit Visum and realizes during his stay that he wants to stay in Germany for longer than the originally planned six months. However, as Provisit Visum has a maximum duration of six months, he needs our Provisit Germany. This insurance can also be taken out after the trip has already begun, and its maximum duration is two years.
From the customer's point of view, this would simply be a change of insurance. For technical and legal reasons, however, a new insurance contract must be concluded. This is very simple: when you take out the new insurance, tell us in the “notes” field that you wish to cancel the old insurance. So that we can be sure that we are terminating the correct contract, please always state the policy number of the old insurance. If you have any questions, you can of course contact us at any time.
The following applies to Provisit Visum, Provisit Germany and Provisit Educare24: You will only pay the contributions for your old insurance accrued up to the date of receipt of this notification. If there is a credit balance, this will be transferred back to you immediately and without deduction of an administrative fee. Please note that for Provisit Visum there is a minimum contribution of €20.00.
